A Little Magic

I shot a little magic today when a neighbor came to call. He just has a smile that lights the room!

Tulips & Light

This weeks theme of back lighting and bones. I brought my tulips home from the office and set them on the kitchen table. When I passed them last night, the early evening sun was streaming through the petals and leaves. Grabbed the Macro lens and the tripod to try and capture the petals, but I fell in love with the leaves instead. I liked that the base of the tulip showed.

Day 100!!

Today marks my first 100 days of Ravelry's 365 Project. It really just flew by and I've made so many great friends. Thank you for all you have taught me and all the ways you've influenced my love of photography!

Old Sign on Brick

This sign was revealed recently after the building next to it burned down. It is common in small towns to build directly against another building, and in this case burying this sign for over 30 years. It was a shock to suddenly see it one day as the old building was torn down and debris moved away. Alphabet soup!
